It is the condition that occurs that when the body does not get enough nutrients.

Nutrients are very important for our body. A person whose diet does not contain the necessary nutrients for a longer period of time, can suffer from malnutrition.

Children do not grow well and do not gain weight when their diet contains less carbohydrate and portions. Their hands and legs paper skinny and bony. They have sunken eyes. They are not active and cry all the time due to hunger. This deficiency of carbohydrate and proteins causes the diseases called marasmus.

Children, whose daily diet contains enough carbohydrates but less proteins, may not look thin but they are not active as healthy children of same age. They have swollen hands and feet. They have thin reddish and fizzy hair. Their skin peels off and appears patchy.Their stomach protrudes out.

The food that we eat is called our diet. A diet should contain all nutritions in the right amount. Such a diet is called a balanced diet.

A balanced diet helps your body to function properly, grow and remain strong and healthy. Different vegetable food items taken at a meal is a healthier diet than large amounts of a single vegetable food because the former meal has all the nutrients while the latter one gives a particular nutrient only. Our diet be balanced because if the diet contain less nutrients, the body becomes weak and does not function properly, and if the nutrients are more, it affects the body badly.

In addition to a balanced diet, it is very important to exercise regularly and take sufficient rest. Exercise increases the flow of the blood to the muscles, makes internal organs like heart and lungs stronger, and keep the body fits and healthy.

Taking rest is also important as it gives us freshness. A good sleep gives rest to our body systems. Proper rest also helps in keeping mind and body healthy.

Crops are the plants that are grown in fields on a large scale to provide food and other useful things to humans.

All crops need air, water, sunlight and a good fertile soil. However, different, kinds of crops grow well under different conditions.For example, wheat and gram grow well in cold weather, while rice and maize grow well in hot weather. Where rice and jute grow well in played soil and require lots of water, on the other hand, grow well in sandy soil and require less water.

SUMMER CROPS:
Summer crops are called kharif crops. These crops grow from June to October. Rice, maize, bajar, jute and pulses are kharif crops.
Some vegetables (like onion, tomato, garlic, gourd and pumpkin) and some fruits (like mango, lithi, melon, peach, plum and apricot) grow best in summer.

WINTER CROPS:
Winters crops are called Rabi crops. These crops grow well from November to April. Wheat, barley, gram, peas,and mustard are Rabi crops.
Some vegetables (like carrot, radish, cauliflower, peas and beans) and some fruits (like apple, pomegranate, banane and berry) grow best in winter.

Animals Different Breathing Methods in English (जानवरो मे साँस लेने के प्रकार)

All animals breathe in order to stay alive. They take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide. Different animals take in oxygen in different ways.

Through Lungs:
Mammals, birds and reptiles breathe through their lungs. They have two lungs that are connected through a breathing tube to the nostrils. Air enters the body through the nostrils and fills the lungs. The lungs take in oxygen from the air and give out the carbon dioxide.

Through Skin:
An earthworm breathes through its skin. A frog breathes through its skin in water, while on land, it breathes through lungs.

Through Gills:
Fish,a baby frog or a tadpole and other aquatic animals breathe through gills. They take in water through their mouth. As the water passes through gills,oxygen dissolved in water is absorbed and carbon dioxide is released.

Through Body Holes:
Insects breathe through tiny holes present on their body. These holes are called spirals.The spirals are connected to the network of tubes called breathing tubes or trachea.The air enters the spiracels, passes through trachea and get absorbed by the tissue of the body. Carbon dioxide from the tissues enters the trachea and gets removed from the body through the spiracels.

Joints and Type of Joints of Body in English (शरीर के जोड़ व उनके प्रकार)

A joint is the place where two bones meet. Most joints hold together, yet allow movement. You can move the parts of your body at the joints. There are different kinds of joints which allow different kinds of movements.

Ball and Socket Joint:
The end of the bones is round like a ball.It fits into a hollow part in the other bone. This type of joint allows movement in all directions. The shoulder and hip joints are ball and socket joints. That is why we can move our arms and legs in all directions.

Hinge Joint:
This type of joint works just like the hinges of a door. It allows only back and forth movements. Hinge joints are found in the knees, elbows, fingers and toes. That is why we can move these parts only in one direction.

Pivot Joint:
The joints between your skull and the backbone is a pivot joint. It allows your head to move left and right, and also up and down.

Gliding Joint:
This kind of joint allows movement in your wrist and ankle,and also between any two vertebrae of the backbone. It allows these bones to slide against each other. It also your back to bend,turn and twist at each joint.

Muscle (मांसपेशिया) - Knowledge About Muscle in English

Your bones cannot move by the Muscle. They need something to move. The bones in the body are covered with muscles. Muscles are just below your skin. The muscles and bones together help in moving the part of your body. They also give shape to the body. It is the muscles and bones of the hands that make your hands able to dance and write.

Muscles are made up of tough elastic tissues. These are attached to the bones by a tough band of tissues called tendons. The muscles tighten and relax themselves to produce movement. There are about 640 muscles in your body.

Muscles can only pull the bones. They cannot push them.So, to move the bones, at least two muscles are required. For example, when you bend your arm,one muscles, i.e. biceps contracts and gets shortens,that is the muscles on top become stiff. while the lower muscles, the triceps, stretch. when you stretch back your arm, the upper muscles stretch and the lower muscles contract.

There are three kind of muscles

The muscles which we can control are called voluntary muscles. We can bend or stretch our arms, kick a football with our leg or write with our hands whenever we want. Voluntary muscles control these movement which are further controlled by us.

But there are certain muscles we cannot control. Such muscles are called involuntary muscles. Foodie,stomach, intestines and blood vessels are some organs which have involuntary muscles. These muscles are called smooth muscles.

Our heart is made up of a special kind of muscles called cardiac muscles. They are involuntary muscles which work throughout our without getting tired.

Limbs - Know About Limbs (Arms and Legs Structure) in English (भुजा व टाँगो.की संरचना)

Arms and legs are the main base of our body. we cannot work without it.
The framework of each upper and lower limbs is made up of three long and small bones.

The upper limbs, called the forelimbs or arms, are joined to the backbone with the help of shoulder girdle (shoulder blade and collarbone make up the shoulder girdle). The arm has one long bone called the humerus. The lower arm has two long bones. The wrist and hands have several small bones.

The bones of the lower limbs, called the hind limbs or legs are attached to the hip bone(hip bone is made up of three bones joined together). The upper half or the thigh bone of the leg, also called the femur, is the longest bone in the body and bears the weight of the whole body. The lower half of the leg has the shin bone and the calf bone. There are several small bones which make up the foot.

NOTE:
The long bones of the arms and legs are hollow tube-like structures. such structures are very strong which can hold weight and tolerate pressure.

That is why we are not only able to carry our weight but can also lift more weight and walk.

The brain is the most remarkable organ in your body. It is the control center of your body. Message from different parts of the body tell the brain what is required by the body. The brain then tells every part of the body, by sending messages, what to do and how to do, even when you are asleep.

The brain not only controls the movement of the body, but also thinks, gives reasons, remembers or stores a lot of information and can recall that when required. This is called memory.

The brain is soft and delicate organ like jelly. It looks like a walnut. It is protected within a bony framework called the skull. The space between the brain and skull is filled with a fluid.

The brain has three parts-the cerebrum, the cerebellum and the medulla.

CEREBRUM: It is the largest part of the brain which helps us to think, learn and remember. It also controls the function of sense organ.

CEREBELLUM: It is the back part of the brain which controls muscular activity and maintain balance of the body.

MEDULLA: It is the lowermost part of the brain that joins brain to the spinal cord. The medulla controls involuntary function like breathing, heart beats and of blood circulation.

Human skeletal is the base of our body. It is structure of bones. Without it we cannot image the human body.

The human skeletal is made up of 206 bones which are arranged in definite manner.

Bones are made up of cell. They are hard aur tough on the outside, but are soft and spongy from the underside. The underside of a bone has soft jelly-like material called the bone marrow, which makes blood cells in the body.

Bones are hard and are of different shapes and size. For example, the arm and leg bones are long, while the bones in your little fingers are short.

All of us have a skeletal made up of same kind of bones which are arranged in the same manner.

The skeletal has three major function.

*It supports your body and gives shape to your body. Without skeletal, your body would be like jelly.
*It protects the internal organs of the body .For example, the skull protects your brain, while the ribcage protects your heart, liver and lungs. *It helps you to move.

1. Take a walk every day.
2. If you sit much of the day, stand up from your desk every 30 minutes and do 5 minutes of movement.
3. Stretch for 5 minutes first thing in the morning or after your shower.
4. Practice 10 minutes a day of aerobic exercise, like running, jumping jacks, dancing, or swimming.
5. Practice 10 minutes a day of muscle-strengthening activities, working different muscle groups each day.
6. Park your car farther away from entrances to work or stores.
7. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
8. Run or jump on a rebounder for 30 minutes a day. It’s really fun and great for your overall health!
9. Find a running buddy and begin running every other day, starting with a walk/run if you are new to running.
10. Take a fun exercise class like Zumba or Jazzercise.

Unity Is Strength (Moral Story) in English

Once upon a time in a forest, there was a huge banyan tree on which lived a flock of pigeons. One day a hunter came into the forest. He laid a net beneath the tree and spread some grains over it. When the pigeons saw the food grains while returning home, they tempted by those grains and landed to eat them. As soon as they landed they got trapped into that net.

The leader of that flock was very intelligent. He told his friends, "My dear friends do not lose courage, together we can make ourselves free. Lets fly in the sky along with this net." All the pigeons did as their leader told them. The leader took them to the part of forest where his friend, the rat lived.

The leader pigeon requested the rat to cut the net and make them free. The rat and his friends got to work and soon the pigeons were out of the net. They thanked the rats for their help. "That's how with the power of unity the pigeons became free again.


Moral of the story -'Unity is strength'
